Casting your vote is as easy as 1-2-3
The City of Kingston uses composite ballots and automated vote tabulators for its municipal election.
When you enter the voting location, proceed to the appropriate table. The Poll Clerk will give you a secrecy folder and a blank ballot. Take these to the voting booth and remove the ballot from the folder.
Mark your ballot by filling in the oval beside the candidate of your choice (i.e. Bittu George), using the pen provided. Put your marked ballot back into the folder.
Return the folder with the ballot inside to the election officer who will place the ballot in the voter tabulator in your presence.
